 Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Science Fair.  We are very proud of your hard work!  Thank you to the U of C Masters students who came to judge the projects.












We started an origami/fraction/symmetry art project.

Students worked on coding their Ozobots on a number-line.



We played a fun word work game inspired by Scategories.  The class got 11/18 of the countries starting with C.



Students continued to work on their interpretation of Star Stories.

We had beautiful weather to mark the beginning of Spring.  The Equinox will be at 3 am on March 20.  We walked to the storm pond to notice signs of spring.





























Students started to paint their stones for their "stone stories".  We will most likely have to finish after the Spring Break.

 Friday, August 30 We had an awesome first week of school, the time went by fast!  Some highlights from the past two days were: Time capsules: We have been writing a letter to our future selves to read at the end of grade 5 and grade 12.  Students have been including details about their summer, their interests and goals for this year. Shipwrecked: To build leadership and resiliency, we played a game called Shipwrecked.  Students in 5D worked as a team to cross from one side of the soccer field to the other by only standing on 10 sit upons.  The students moved almost halfway across the field without touching the grass!  It was amazing to hear all of the words of encouragement and strategy. Math and Literacy: We eased back into learning by playing math and literacy games.
