HUG & GO LOOP CLOSED FOR AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP ON THURSDAY, APRIL 17

Please note, the Hug & Go loop will be closed for afternoon pick up on Thursday, April 17 to allow for the Food Trucks to pull in and get prepped for service by 4:30.

Families that use this loop for pick up are asked to please make alternative arrangements with your child on where you will meet them or park somewhere in the neighbourhood and walk in.

A reminder that there is never stopping or parking in front of the school as this is our bus zone and we have five school buses and several daycare buses that use this area.

Thanks for your cooperation!

Human Sexuality

Forms went home about the upcoming health unit, Human Sexuality.  Bring the form back if you DO NOT want your child to participate.

Student Vote

Please bring in any campaigning leaflets that may be handed door-to-door or sent in the mail.  We are looking for information about all participating parties in Skyview.

Nose Hill Park Field Trip

Thank you to those who have already volunteered for our upcoming field trip in May. If you are interested and have a security clearance, please reach out!

Extra at home opportunity

Here is an AT HOME opportunity for students.  Please click on https://cpcontest.cpsevents.ca/ for more information.

We started our learning about the digestive system by taking notes, explored the Gizmos digital digestive system and we are now working on a stop motion to explain the digestive system.

Ask me about Drum Fit!

We started our own creative writing story.  Students brainstormed all of their ideas to create a unique character, setting and problem.  We will continue our stories next week.

We reviewed Order of Operations with a Jeopardy.  Please practice at home if students are still unsure.

Our grade 2 buddies shared their polar bear research books with us.  We then shared our stone stories with our buddies.
